The page you arrived on is the early scaffold of a new wimly.com — a fuller home for the project than the single landing page that came before it.
The old page did one thing well: it explained the case for backing Wimly as a founding supporter. It didn’t do enough else. It didn’t have room for clinicians, for researchers, for patient-organisation partners, for the long-form thinking that sits behind the architecture. Those audiences deserve their own pages, in their own register, with the depth the topic needs.
So we’re building it. Astro 5, Tailwind v4, deployed on Vercel, with content edited through Sveltia CMS. Bilingual from day one — English and Swedish — with more languages to follow as the community grows. Privacy- respecting analytics with a public dashboard. No tracking cookies. No extractive design .

This first post is a placeholder, but it’s also the start of something the Strategic Plan calls for: a public diary of what it takes to build this. Not a marketing channel. A working log of decisions, trade-offs, and the things we got wrong before we got them right.
Next post: the sitemap, and why we put it in this shape.
